Basic Label Design - Colors and Arrangement

Is your Design or Picture the focus of the label? Is your label monochrome? These are among the questions you need to ask...and there are no "right" answers. Here are some examples (bear in mind that the labels are 3.33" by 4.00", either orientation is acceptable - back labels for Napa wines are 2" by 2.25"). Borders are tough and stay away from the edges):
