The
Stagecoach Vineyard is located high on the eastern slopes of
the Napa Valley. Here, the rocky, volcanic soil, yields small,
intense berries. The cool climate and high elevation lead to
longer hang time, while the sunny southwest exposure assures
full flavor development. Our grapes will be coming from the
same vineyard as the highly rated wines listed below. You can

Paul Hobbs
Stagecoach Cabernet 2000 -- Rated 88 by the Wine Spectator
A rich, loamy, earthy streak
runs through this currant-, herb- and olive- laced wine
that's dense and concentrated, finishing with a strong
earth and coffee ground finish. Some may find it too earthy
and lacking in vibrant fruit. Best from 2004 through 2010.
Price: $61.99

Miner Family
Stagecoach Merlot 2001 -- Rated 92 by the Wine Enthusiast
From a famed vineyard, a
strong and pedigreed wine. The structure immediately alerts
you that its an important, with its firm, sweet tannins,
ripe fruit and crisp acids, not to mention the fine oak.
Rather astringent now, but the flood of cherry and blackberry
flavor suggests cellaring until 2006. Price: $24.99

Palmieri
Stagecoach Syrah 2001 -- Rated 90 by the Wine Spectator
Intense and concentrated,
with pretty floral, wild berry and blackberry flavors
that are tightly wound and focused, with touches of smoky
oak folding in nicely, hints of tobacco and cedar. Drink
now through 2010. Price: $47.00
